History: Originally known as the Branchland branch of the Hamlin-Lincoln County Library system, the library was established in 1978. After 37 years, it relocated in October of 2015 and was renamed the Guyan River Public Library. Along with the main library in Hamlin and the Alum Creek branch, Guyan River serves more than 22,000 residents in Lincoln County.
